Readers of the Week

Reading, according to Hornby (2000) means, to look at and understand the meaning of written or printed words or symbols. Reading is a unique human activity that is characterized by the translation of symbols or letters into words and sentences that communicate information and mean something to the reader.

The reader seeks to understand the meaning of a written text; evaluates its significance and uses what he or she has read to enhance his or her knowledge, effectiveness or pleasure.

At Baytulilm college, this skill promoted through the weekly reading and assessment of a weekly teen digest(Teen Trust) published by Media Trust Ltd.

Our readers of the week, week 6, second term, 2019/2020 academic session:

  • Miss Ayilara Aisha
  • Master Rufai Abdul Rahman

Congratulations to our readers of the week!
