Baytul-Ilm e-School is an essential internal tool for providing western Academic Education as well as Islamic Education (Modrassah)(Qur’an, Arabic and Islamic studies). We provide live interactive virtual education which is flexible, cost-effective and academically focused for young learners who cannot or will not attend school due to medical, complex mental health or behavioral issues.
How our online provisions works
Flexibility and quality of provision are fundamental to parents and guardians when they consider alternative providers. Learners who enroll with us can learn from any suitable location where there is a broadband connection and computer (android as well).This usually from home or elsewhere. Our experienced, subject specialist teachers deliver lessons via an online classroom to groups and individuals who will be logging in from all over the world. The classroom (zoom, Google meet) is easy to navigate and use and provides the opportunity for easy learner to manage their level of interactions with teachers and peers.
We have developed our provisions to meet the standards of local and international academic basic Education needs, as we respond directly to the challenges the learners face to secure high quality, cost-effective alternative education provision.
A broad and balanced curriculum for years 5-12
Key Stages 2: This curriculum is suitable for year 5 and 6 primary age learners only. It combined the rigour of academic learning with the flexibility to meet the needs of individual learners. This enables them to develop the required knowledge and skills through guided discovery that will support their transition into secondary education.
Key Stage 3: This is a two years curriculum for years 7 and 8(jss1 and 2). The courses are specifically designed to provide the required learning, skills and knowledge to deliver the foundation for progression towards BECE, JSCE certificate or towards readiness for GCSE courses.
Key Stage 4: This curriculum provides access to SSCE (GCSE) courses at the foundational outcomes level of years 10 and 11(SS1 and SS2). We also welcome post-year 12 learners two might have missed the contents of Key stage 4. By the end of this curriculum, learners are grounded in their chosen carrier path and department.
Key Stage 5: This curriculum provides adequate and in-depth contents for preparing learners for GCSE, WAEC, UTME and NECO, it provides a window for tertiary education.
This is the Islamic curriculum. It provides adequate contents in Islamic studies.
